Taking the student dormitories of a university in Nanchang as the research object, the environmental parameters such as indoor temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and CO2concentration at night in summer are measured, and the subjective environmental evaluation before and after sleep and the sleep quality of 26 subjects are investigated. The measurement and investigation results are analysed by the statistical methods. The results show that the thermal neutral temperature of both the sleep state and the awake state is 25 ℃, the sleep state has a wider acceptable temperature range than the awake state. The CO2concentration in the dormitories is higher at night, and the satisfaction of indoor air quality after sleep is significantly lower than that before sleep, so the ventilation should be properly enhanced. The higher indoor temperature, relative humidity and CO2concentration during sleep will lead to the decline of sleep quality. Cool and well-ventilated indoor environment at night is more beneficial to improve the sleep quality of students.
